Stylishly Eco

in this blog, i'm trying to strike a balance. style does not have to come at the expense of the environment. equally, eco-fashion does not necessarily connote rough hemp dungarees. i've decided that if i'm going to shop, then i'm going to try to do as little harm as possible.

cleaning up

labour behind the label has just released its report let's clean up fashion, which updates the 2006 version. this is a great resource to learn about how overseas factory workers are treated by high street brands. the standouts in this year's report seem to be next, new look, and the gap.

Check out the clean up fashion to:
  • "find out more about the companies you buy from,
  • learn about the issues that are important to workers
  • read articles about the garment industry, fair trade and producer countries,
  • tell us what you think in our blog and,
  • take action."
